We have seen so much time and resources wasted on preventable disorders. What’s frustrating is that many of these disorders can be managed or avoided with simple diet and exercise changes! At Evoke 5, Physical Wellness is a cornerstone of patient care.

We know there is no one-size-fits-all solution. What’s right for one person could actually keep another person from progressing toward their health goals. Personalized diet and exercise plans—informed by in-depth discussions and genetic testing—help our patients achieve their health goals.

Physical wellness is about more than food and exercise. It also extends to the way we think—or don’t think. We encourage our patients to think about “living consciously” and avoid habits like mindlessly overeating, not taking the time to thoroughly chew and enjoy our food, sitting on the couch for hours in the evening, and putting off exercise until it is too late in the day.

The hardest part of making positive lifestyle changes is sticking to it. You’re not alone—we all struggle with it! We make a point to work with our patients to find and tap into their own inner motivation. Remember: Consistent movement in the right direction—even small, simple steps—is key to success.

Spiritual wellness is not about religion or denomination. It’s about finding purpose, grounding, and connecting with a higher power or inner peace—however that resonates with you.
